Durston Garden Products Ltd

Performance Compost Supplier

For over 150 years we’ve been innovating, evolving and diversifying our Somerset-based business to meet the demands of our customers.

Today we’re focused on paving the way for the future of compost. And the results speak for themselves with our peat-free range proven to deliver up to 70% more growth than standard mixes.

This performance is thanks to our passion for a sustainable, cost-effective product for customers alongside our no compromise approach to quality.

We’ve invested in our operations, are committed to the best responsibly sourced ingredients, and deliver reliable and personal service. Plus, our mixes are rigorously tested to ensure consistent, trusted performance.

We make compost from our family farm in Somerset. That’s it. And being focused on one thing means we bring all of our passion and knowledge to every bag.

Our no-compromise approach means we use responsibly sourced ingredients, high-quality manufacturing and friendly, helpful service so you can trust us to help you grow.

We’re proud to put our products forward to be tried and tested by independent experts, ensuring they perform for you each and every time.

During our 150 year existence a lot’s changed. We’ve always blended technology and tradition to deliver for our customers. From a manual working farm to a fully automated modern growing media production plant, our business may have shifted, but our philosophy is the same: performance.

Today, we’re capable of producing and packing a wide range of compost and garden products. We have the capability and expertise to adapt or change our product base, specifications, levels of production and packaging to comply with the most stringent performance requirements of our customers.

The strengths within this modern organisation are due in no small part to the work of Chris, Steve and Dan Durston, our current Directors. During the past fifteen years, Durstons have established a fine reputation for sound business practice in which the performance of our products and our responsibility for customer satisfaction forms the highest priority.

These strengths allow Durstons to furnish the needs of customers across the entire spectrum of the modern garden products business in a wide range of retail outlets.
