Ballards Natural Dog Treats
Ballard's Natural Dog Treats is a UK-based retailer and wholesaler of premium natural dog treats, founded in 2023. Inspired by a fussy Cavapoo named Olive, the business specialises in high-quality, air-dried dog chews and treats made from natural ingredients with no unnecessary additives. Ballard's sources products from trusted European suppliers, focusing on sustainability, nutritional value, and long-lasting chews that support canine health. Its range includes beef, chicken, duck, rabbit, pig, and other single-protein treats suitable for a variety of dietary needs. Alongside providing healthier treat options for dogs, the company is committed to sustainable sourcing and supporting dog charities across the UK.
It all started with Olive 🐾
Ballard’s Natural Dog Treats began in 2023 with one very fussy Cavapoo called Olive. Despite trying countless options, she consistently turned her nose up at traditional dog food. After speaking with other dog owners and doing our own research, we switched Olive to a raw, natural diet — and the difference was immediate. She loved it, her health improved, and her personality shone even brighter.
That was our lightbulb moment.
From fussy eater to food lover
As we explored natural dog treats from local suppliers, Olive’s reaction said it all. She couldn’t get enough of them — and the health benefits were impossible to ignore. Friends and family soon followed suit, buying the same treats for their own dogs.
When the opportunity came to source natural, sustainable dog treats from a trusted European supplier, we knew we’d found something special.
